If not, try that. Then, select "safe mode", preferably without networking. What writing do you see when it reverts back to the blue screen with white writing? This could be hardware related. It keeps going to a black screen with white writing giving me options to start in safe mode start at last known safe piont and a couple of others. but when I press any of the options it starts to boot but then goes back to the black screen again with a quick flash of a blue screen with white writing on. can you help please.
