Beeping sounds in Windows XP are very annoying. Here is a quick hack that you can use in Windows XP to get rid of never ending beeps.

Get Rid of Beeps in XP

  • Click Start then Run
  • Type regedit
  • Locate HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Sound
  • In the right pane double click on Beep
  • Set the Value Data field to no
  • Click OK
  • Restart your computer

No more beeps. If you feel the need to get the beeps back, do the opposite.
